I’m Thankful for Recruiters and Small Business Owners

Hey Everyone,

Melissa Varischetti here, owner and founder at FindAJobPA.com

It’s November, and for many of you that means the start of the holiday season, although if you’re like me the biggest holiday (Halloween) has already come and gone. Regardless, this is definitely a time of year when we are thinking more about gratitude and blessings, and remembering what it is we’re thankful for.

And so, in the spirit of the season, this month’s blog post is going to be a short reflection from me on why I am so thankful for all of you small business owners and recruiters who follow our blog and keep up with us on social media.

Since Day 1, you have been the heart and soul of FindAJobPA.com, and it’s not exaggerating to say we would not be where we are today without you. Starting with those first few employers who took a chance on a startup job board, to the hundreds of folks we’ve helped since then in the past decade, every recruiter and business owner we’ve partnered with has made a positive impact on us. Every job we’ve posted and then happily taken down as we get word it’s been filled has contributed to our shared success, and we are eternally grateful for your partnerships over the years. My favorite part of this job is meeting folks just like me who understand how tough it is to be an entrepreneur, and then finding that sweet spot where we can help each other out and grow both our businesses.

Believe me, as a small business owner myself, I know how hard it is to find the time to develop yourself professionally and also grow your business! You’re already wearing many hats, and adding something else to the mix is never easy. That’s why I’m also announcing an exciting new email series dedicated to helping recruiters and small business owners learn more about the HR and recruiting world, and stay up-to-date with some top trends from the past few years. And before you ask, no I won’t be flooding your inbox multiple times a day with random content that you’re just going to delete anyway. I’ve been on the receiving end of that just like you have, and that’s the last thing I want to do!

I’m thinking we’ll probably have 1 email per week, maybe 1 email every other week, and maybe 5 – 6 emails total. So nothing too intense as far as volume, just something to provide some helpful content over a few weeks’ time.

If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, the first step is just to sign up for our email list. All we ask for is your email address, and we never share it with 3rd parties or sell it. Plus you can unsubscribe at any time. Here’s the link to sign up: https://bit.ly/3kgRWOF

Right now the plan is to start sending content out the first week of December. I know that can be a busy time of year (especially if you’re hiring seasonal or temp employees) but that’s why I wanted to send you the content during that busy season. After all, if it’s raining cats and dogs, you’ll definitely appreciate it if someone gives you an umbrella! And again, this is not going to be the kind of email content that takes you an hour to read through. I’m thinking maybe 15 minutes tops – easy to fit into your lunch break and easy to share with your friends and co-workers!

If you have any questions about this upcoming email series, feel free to drop me a line at [email protected] or fill out the contact form on our website. Otherwise, I look forward to sharing some cool content with you over the next few months!

Until next time,

Melissa
