The Accounting Manager will oversee the Associations accounting system, maintain accurate records and financial documentation, and oversee the accounting activities and staff.


  • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and administrative reports
  • Assist in the creation of the annual budget
  • Analyzes financial reports in relation to current budget and prior years information
  • Audits expenditures ensuring compliance with the accounting procedures/policies
  • Balances and reconciles accounts
  • General ledger maintenance with in-house accounting program
  • Makes journal entries as needed
  • Generates monthly reports as requested by management
  • Maintains the depreciation schedule and records
  • Assists external auditors and provides information for the annual audit
  • Prepares sales and hotel tax reports
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the accounting staff
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Extensive knowledge of accounting concepts and principles
  • Ability to create and manage budgets
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong supervisory skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting and financial software


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum three years of related work experience
  • Minimum three years of supervisory experience
